What We Do

Where Others
See Obstacles,
We See Architecture.

01

Stakeholder Alignment & Market Entry

Navigating complex political and community landscapes before, during, and after corporate expansions. We transform potential opposition into durable partnerships — enabling projects to launch with legitimacy, speed, and reduced risk.

02

Government & Regulatory Relations

Drawing on firsthand experience inside city government, we build productive bridges between corporate initiatives and public-sector stakeholders — aligning regulatory interests, neutralizing friction, and securing the trust needed to move forward.

03

Community Integration Strategy

Authentic community investment is not a cost center — it's a competitive advantage. We design and operationalize engagement frameworks that embed your organization as a genuine long-term partner in the communities where you operate.

04

Reputational Risk Advisory

We advise senior leadership on the early identification and mitigation of reputational exposure — turning potentially sensitive environments into managed, strategic opportunities before they become crises.

05

Crisis Response & Rapid Deployment

When speed and coordination are critical, we mobilize cross-sector coalitions — aligning government, nonprofit, and corporate stakeholders to deliver relief and resources with precision and zero compliance risk.

06

Social Impact & Coalition Architecture

We build the multi-stakeholder coalitions and cross-sector partnerships that make ambitious initiatives possible — from workforce development and small business investment to civic infrastructure and philanthropic deployment.

The Standard

Oakland-Caliber Work,
Wherever You Operate.

I

Diagnose the Landscape

Identify political, community, and regulatory stakeholders — mapping risk and opportunity across every dimension before strategy is set.

II

Align Interests Early

Engage stakeholders proactively, translating competing interests into shared commitments that hold under pressure.

III

Build the Architecture

Design scalable frameworks — playbooks, coalitions, community infrastructure — that outlast any single initiative.

IV

Execute with Precision

Deliver commitments on time, with full compliance, and in ways that strengthen relationships rather than strain them.

"Transforming politically sensitive launches into models for community-integrated expansion — then replicating the blueprint across U.S. and international markets."

Ahmed Ali Bob — Founder, The Town Standard

Ahmed Ali Bob · Founder

A Career at the Intersection of Power, Community, and Consequence.

Ahmed Ali Bob is a cross-sector executive with a proven track record of navigating the most complex political, community, and regulatory environments to advance large-scale corporate initiatives. His work sits at the intersection of technology, government, and community — where the stakes are highest and the margin for error is narrowest.

As Director of Global Social Impact at Block, Inc. (NYSE: SQ), Ahmed led the stakeholder strategy for the company's Oakland office launch amid significant community opposition — transforming a politically sensitive entry into a nationally recognized model for community-integrated corporate expansion, subsequently replicated across the U.S., Australia, Canada, and the UK.

Prior to Block, Ahmed served as External Affairs Manager for the City of Oakland, where he advised on economic development and infrastructure initiatives impacting 420,000 residents. His civic leadership spans the Chair of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the City of Oakland Workforce Development Board, and appointment by Mayor Barbara Lee to the Mayor's Working Group on Charter Reform.

The Town Standard is built on the conviction that Oakland has always operated at the highest level — and that the rest of the world deserves that standard too.
